Tampering with Mother Nature

Planet Earth – which we lovingly refer to as “Mother Earth” is now facing extinction thus jeopardizing every form of living being, including humans. It is sad to note that the human species is ruining the only habitable planet on the solar system.
Allah says in the Qur’an that He never brings any disaster on us, we do. The following verse makes it clear –
What! When a single disaster smites you, although ye smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, do ye say?- "Whence is this?" Say (to them): "It is from yourselves (because of your evil deeds): For Allah hath power over all things." (Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #165)
If there were a Qur'an with
which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were
made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah
in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could
have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster
cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their
homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not
fail in His promise.

Verse #31)
Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until the Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of disaster. (Al-Hajj, Chapter #22, Verse #55)
So We sent against them a furious Wind through days of disaster, that We might give them a taste of a Penalty of humiliation in this life; but the Penalty of a Hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help. (Fussilat, Chapter #41, Verse #16)
In the above few verses we find few reasons for disasters that take place upon us. The first verse declares that they happen due to our own actions, second verse reflects that our ill deeds are the cause of disasters, the third verse says it is also due to lack of faith and then the last verse says it is allowed to happen to make the disbelievers taste and feel the pain and suffering so that they revert to truth in faith.
So, what are the ill deeds that cause us to face the disasters? Let us try to analyze it a bit.
Mainly due to these two reasons Allah allows disaster to happen so that they could taste it withstanding a chance for realization that there is a God who is the Commander of all Affairs.
Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds! (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #54)
At the time of establishing this world, Allah has carefully planned and implemented all possible checks and balances to ensure that the planet Earth is sustainable for all forms of life for a certain length of time.
Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between! (Al-Anbiya, Chapter #21, Verse #16)
Say: Is it that ye deny Him Who created the earth in two days? And do ye join equals with Him? He is the Lord of (all) the Worlds. (Fussilat, Chapter #41, Verse #9)
He set on the (earth), mountains standing firm, high above it, and bestowed blessings on the earth, and measure therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in four days, in accordance with (the needs of) those who seek (Sustenance). (Fussilat, Chapter #41, Verse #10)
So He completed them as seven firmaments in two days, and He assigned to each heaven its duty and command. And We adorned the lower heaven with lights, and (provided it) with guard. Such is the Decree of (Him) the Exalted in Might, Full of Knowledge. (Fussilat, Chapter #41, Verse #12)
We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us. (Qaf, Chapter #50, Verse #38)
He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in Six days, and is moreover firmly established on the Throne (of Authority). He knows what enters within the earth and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do. (Al-Hadid, Chapter #57, Verse #4)
The time of creation two or six days mentioned above are not the time we know here on Earth. The “time” referred above are in relation to the time in the universe, which is not the same as on Earth. Our perception of time on Earth is bound to 24 hours framework in relation to sun rise and setting. But the time frame for the universe is based on other methods that are not known to us.
The verses above also clarify that everything has been created for a purpose, and they have been allowed to function or operate under the full authority of Allah. Therefore, tampering with any such setting would likely have a negative impact causing disorders in nature.
"I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes Satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest. (An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #119)
Tampering with natural orders is prohibited. Even our existence is following a natural process since our creation from Adam (A) –
O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you. (An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #1)
It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). When they are united, she bears a light burden and carries it about (unnoticed). When she grows heavy, they both pray to Allah their Lord, (saying): "If Thou givest us a goodly child, we vow we shall (ever) be grateful." (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #189)
And Allah has made for you mates (and companions) of your own nature, and made for you, out of them, sons and daughters and grandchildren, and provided for you sustenance of the best: will they then believe in vain things, and be ungrateful for Allah.s favours?- (An-Nahl, Chapter #16, Verse #72)
And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised: (As-Sajda, Chapter #32, Verse #8)
He created you (all) from a single person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and he sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)? (Az-Zumar, Chapter #39, Verse #6)
In the above few verses Allah is also revealing to us that He is the sustainer of all living beings including mankind. In the following verses we would see how He planned for it –
Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith Fruits for your sustenance; then set not up rivals unto Allah when ye know (the truth). (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #22)
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise. (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #164)
Rain is a process that leads to fruits, vegetation and harvests –
It is He Who sendeth down rain from the skies: with it We produce vegetation of all kinds: from some We produce green (crops), out of which We produce grain, heaped up (at harvest); out of the date-palm and its sheaths (or spathes) (come) clusters of dates hanging low and near: and (then there are) gardens of grapes, and olives, and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety): when they begin to bear fruit, feast your eyes with the fruit and the ripeness thereof. Behold! in these things there are signs for people who believe. (Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #99)
It is He Who produceth gardens, with trellises and without, and dates, and tilth with produce of all kinds, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in variety): eat of their fruit in their season, but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not by excess: for Allah loveth not the wasters. (Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #141)
It is He Who sendeth the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, We drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall We raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember. (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #57)
The likeness of the life of the present is as the rain which We send down from the skies: by its mingling arises the produce of the earth- which provides food for men and animals: (It grows) till the earth is clad with its golden ornaments and is decked out (in beauty): the people to whom it belongs think they have all powers of disposal over it: There reaches it Our command by night or by day, and We make it like a harvest clean-mown, as if it had not flourished only the day before! thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who reflect. (Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #24)
The mountains serve a purpose from where the rivers flow –
And it is He who spread out the earth, and set thereon mountains standing firm and (flowing) rivers: and fruit of every kind He made in pairs, two and two: He draweth the night as a veil o'er the Day. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who consider! (Ar-Rad, Chapter #13, Verse #3)
And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. (Al-Hijr, Chapter #15, Verse #19)
And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves; (An-Nahl, Chapter #16, Verse #15)
"And remember how He made you inheritors after the 'Ad people and gave you habitations in the land: ye build for yourselves palaces and castles in (open) plains, and carve out homes in the mountains; so bring to remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from Allah, and refrain from evil and mischief on the earth." (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #74)
He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs. (Luqman, Chapter #31, Verse #10)
Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky? With it We then bring out produce of various colours. And in the mountains are tracts white and red, of various shades of colour, and black intense in hue. (Fatir, Chapter #35, Verse #27)
He even kept the osmosis of waters separate!
Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah. Nay, most of them know not. (An-Naml, Chapter #27, Verse #61)
And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? (Al-Mursalat, Chapter #77, Verse #27)
Apart of being an abode for many living forms, the oceans are also meant for our ships to sail on –
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise. (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #164)
And among His Signs are the ships, smooth-running through the ocean, (tall) as mountains. (Ash-Shura, Chapter #42, Verse #32)
From the verses quoted above it becomes clear that Allah have been very mindful in every details of His sustenance planning for all living beings on the planet. Mankind, despite their wisdom and technological knowledge still largely depends on the natural process to survive. Any kind of tampering with nature results in disasters for us all.
But alas! Mankind has been tampering with mother Earth for a long time now. Every time there is a war around the globe, fire, explosions and destruction follows that causes disruption in the ecology and the environment. Peace of all kind of living creatures and plants are disrupted, often for years. Use of semi-nuclear bombs made of depleted uranium makes the area inhabitable for decades! In the countries where the depleted uranium bombs were used the people of those areas are sick or ill and giving birth to deformed children.
Hundreds of kilometers around the Chernobyl disaster areas are still inhabitable. Who knows what disaster would the Japan nuclear meltdown would bring to mankind and other living beings and for how long. The radiation of Japan nuclear fallout is spreading around the globe through wind and water ways.
British Petroleum’s (BP) oil drilling accidents in the Pacific Ocean near the Gulf of Mexico has caused the ocean lives to die in masses due to covering of surface floor with oil and the oil is finding inroads through underground absorption all the way to Florida contaminating the surface floors. The oil that the USA and the Western world are fighting for is going bleed through their noses.
Weapons of mass destruction (WMD) like the poisonous gas, chemical and biological weapons are being used in many wars without any track and records of the harms they are doing to us. All we know is the number of new and deadly diseases are increasing with the increase of number of medicines to tackle the existing ones. Even in the name of vaccination many harmful materials are being injected in us that are having even more harmful effects than cure sometime leading to autism and even death.
Climate change is another growing threat. Scientists are still clueless about the causes of this changes that is becoming apparent every day. It could be because of the unplanned destruction of forests and mountains in order to expand urbanization and industries.
The chemical pollutants are destroying the ecological and environmental balances in the lakes and rivers resulting in poor and poisonous crops and harvest or not harvest at all. Number of fish resources has gone down as they cannot survive in polluted chemical waters.
New and unknown diseases like the Bird Flu and Swine Flu’s have already taken a huge toll on our livestock and poultries pretty much destroying the entire industry beyond recovery. Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) experimental lab invented food is causing other serious alarms in terms of health and environment. Effectiveness of GMO as an alternative food source is now under question that is having a negative impact on the traditional grows.
The secret military weapons programs like the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) are believed to be responsible for all atmospheric disturbances like unexpected tornadoes that appear occasionally. Underground nuclear bomb testing is blamed for increased earthquakes around the world that results in tsunamis.
Now let us ask ourselves the following questions:
Islam was sent to mankind as a religion to unite them as a single nation so that people of all races and ethnic background could live in peace and harmony worshipping One God Allah and following the same Way of Life, which is Islam.
“…This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion…”. (Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #3)
Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight. (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #213)
All people are born under Islam as a natural religion –
Narrated Abu Huraira : Allah's Apostle said, "Every child is born with a true faith of Islam (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) but his parents convert him to Judaism, Christianity or Magainism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?" Then Abu Huraira recited the holy verses: "The pure Allah's Islamic nature (true faith of Islam) (i.e. worshipping none but Allah) with which He has created human beings. No change let there be in the religion of Allah (i.e. joining none in worship with Allah). That is the straight religion (Islam) but most of men know, not." (30.30) (Bukhari, Book #23, Hadith #441)
Will there be any reason for war, conflict or control for resources if all of mankind lives together under one single government without any borders obeying and worshipping the same God Allah believing in Islam?
Mankind evolved as a single nation under common parents, Adam (A) and Eve or Hawa (A) –
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). (Al-Hujraat, Chapter #49, Verse #13)
So why can’t we behave like a single nation again? We fail because of someone called “Satan” who is our avowed enemy and does not want mankind to live in peace as he thinks mankind is responsible for is fall from grace. Whereas the truth is, it was Satan himself who chose to fall from grace disobeying his creator. Therefore, Allah repeatedly reminds us of his presence and motives in the Qur’an,
"I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes Satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest. (An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #119)
Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but Satan’s promises are nothing but deception. (An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #120)
O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan’s handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper. (Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #90)
Satan’s plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain? (Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #91)
When the suffering reached them from us, why then did they not learn humility? On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them. (Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #43)
Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever." (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #20)
O ye Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith. (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #27)
If a suggestion from Satan assail thy (mind), seek refuge with Allah. for He heareth and knoweth (all things). (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #200)
We have not only been introduced to and given an exposure to our hidden avowed enemy and how he deceives us, but Allah also told us of seeking protection to Him from Satan’s deceptions. Will Satan have any influence on us if we all bow down to Allah seeking His protection from the devil?
It is not easy to fight an evil force that is unknown and unseen to us who have so much of advantages over us. Therefore, in order to out smart the devil first we need to submit ourselves completely to the will of Allah Almighty and get ourselves under His protection. Once under His protection, Satan will become powerless.
If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you? in Allah, then, Let believers put their trust. (Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #160)
The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;- (Al-Anfal, Chapter #8, Verse #36)
Then he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!" (Al-Qamar, Chapter #54, Verse #10)
To become worthy of Allah’s help we need to learn and understand Islam by heart from the original sources namely, the Qur’an and Sunnah. In the last sermon our Prophet (s) said,
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QUR'AN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.
Islam calls for a simple way of life. The religion focuses more on after life than the enjoyment in this temporal life. As a result, we find Muslims living a simple lifestyle closer to nature. The concept of “exploitation” is missing in a Muslim society. Prophet (S) showed us how to live with others with patience and perseverance worshipping Allah alone. Allah declares –
"Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper." (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #157)
I have only created jinns and men, that they may serve Me. (Adh-Dhariyat, Chapter #51, Verse #56)
Therefore, the sole purpose of our being here on Earth is to pass our time in worshipping Allah following the traditions of the Prophet (S) – who was the living Qur’an.
If we study the life of the Prophet (S) then we find that he lived a very simple life with very small means but accomplished so much in just 23 years that according to Michael Hart Prophet Muhammad (S) was ranked first among “The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History”, the book that he wrote in 1992 that became a best seller worldwide. Everyone, regardless of national, ethnic and religious background should read the biography or the life story of the Prophet (S). There are many good books available in the market. He was indeed the best of mankind in all respect as mentioned by Michael Hart.
If we truly engage in worship of Allah as prescribed in Islam, we would hardly find any time to mind worldly businesses. Prayers five times a day would allow us just about enough time to eat rest and get around with some regular chores in between. But Satan encourages us to engage in world affairs more than we need thus remain busy neglecting our prayers and worship of Allah. Therefore, losing rewards that would have qualified us to earn an entry to heaven closer to Allah facing Him empty handed.
Allah have been so kind to Muslims that He gave most of the oil resources within the boundaries of Islamic empire to live well enough on this single resource and not having to worry about toiling too much on Earth hampering the prayers and worships. Indeed, the Islamic world could survive on exporting of oil alone quite comfortably for generations without any work! But alas, under the influence of the Western world the Islamic empire disintegrated into fragments with separate kings and kingdoms creating boundaries dividing the ummah (brotherhood). Therefore, the common resource has now been divided into segmented resources occupied by kingdom and domain. Although the oil resource was discovered much later and after the disintegration of the Islamic empire, but reunification of the empire would regenerate the economic power almost overnight.
Only the Islamic World Order could ensure justice under the authority of Islamic rule for all of mankind as this religion does have all the know how for it. The Islamic empire did sustain for over a thousand years and it can revive and sustain once again.
What we are witnessing around the world is injustice at random occurrence. Law and order is crumbling down in all so called civilized countries resulting in chaos and turmoil. Innocent people are being victimized around the globe facing genocide, annihilation and getting locked up in jail for cheap salve labor by force. Worldly greed for power and lust for leisure are the key causes that resulted from lack of faith in Allah. Under the influence of Satan majority of mankind forgot who they are whom they have to face in the life hereafter for accountability on which basis the permanent abode (heaven or hell) will be determined.
Satan uses all the earlier religions prior to Islam to keep the divisions alive among mankind keeping them apart from uniting as a single nation and worship One God – Allah. Innocent people are therefore are kept away from discovering the true religion and the true Creator. This gross failure of human intelligence by surrendering to Satan’s deceptions would result in loss in the after life with severe punishments.
Those who break Allah.s Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves. (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #27)
Those to whom We have sent the Book study it as it should be studied: They are the ones that believe therein: Those who reject faith therein,- the loss is their own. (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #121)
O ye who believe! If ye obey the Unbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels, and ye will turn back (from Faith) to your own loss. (Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #149)
Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance. (Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #30)
Say: "O ye men! Now Truth hath reached you from your Lord! those who receive guidance, do so for the good of their own souls; those who stray, do so to their own loss: and I am not (set) over you to arrange your affairs." (Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #108)
Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an apostle (to give warning). (Al-Isra, Chapter #17, Verse #15)
We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss. (Al-Isra, Chapter #17, Verse #82)
"Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident loss! (Az-Zumar, Chapter #39, Verse #15)
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: and those who reject the Signs of Allah,- it is they who will be in loss. (Az-Zumar, Chapter #39, Verse #63)
All truth seeking people should ask questions and demand proof on any claim made by the authority of other religions as most of their claims are false –
And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful." (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #111)
O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: For We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest. (An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #174)
Or have they taken for worship (other) gods besides him? Say, "Bring your convincing proof: this is the Message of those with me and the Message of those before me." But most of them know not the Truth, and so turn away. (Al-Anbiya, Chapter #21, Verse #24)
And from each people shall We draw a witness, and We shall say: "Produce your proof": then shall they know that the Truth is in Allah (alone), and the (lies) which they invented will leave them in lurch. (Al-Qasas, Chapter #28, Verse #75)
There was a time when people used to rise with the rise of the sun and go to sleep at sun set. There was no electricity to engage in any activity at night and stay up late. Today we have electricity produced from different methods compromising with nature tampering it here and there. With this electricity we watch TV and sleep late waking up late the next day after sun rise. The electricity contributed to growth to some industries like the brothels and night clubs where immoral activities are carried out in the name of entertainment.
In urban dwelling we have developed a system of running tap water where we waste more water than we use. We waste gallons of water while taking a bath under a shower; where as in the rural areas people are still bathing in the same old pond where there forefathers used to bathe. People in villages still live with the nature without disrupting it; where as in the name of development urbanized minds are destroying forests by felling trees filling up ponds lakes and canals preventing natural water to flow that flowed all along that generations witnessed.
Population boom with growing interest in worldly life resulted in many faceted developments geared toward leisure and enjoyment. Much of the nature’s wealth and resources have been converted to achieve all that replacing with industries and manufacturing plants here and there in a desire to fulfill unending greed and lust damaging the environment with industrial pollution through chemical wastes. Illegal earnings through crimes and unethical means is all time high.
Narrated abu Huraira: The Prophet (s) said, "a time will come when one will not care how one gains one's money, legally or illegally." (Bukhari, Book #34, Hadith #275)
The good news is, due to compounding negative effects for disturbances in nature resulted in an imbalance all over as a result we are witnessing many different kind of disasters on which we have no control – some are natural and some are man made.
Continued disaster followed by one another would result in a dire need for a grand change in the way we live and see the world – politically, economically and socially. Eventually, a time would come when people would recognize their Lord God Almighty Allah and bow down to Him is repentance seeking His Mercy and Blessings.
The crusade or persecution of believers by the disbelievers have already begun that would lead to a global war or conflict. The New World Order (NWO) symbolized by the one-eye on top of the pyramid (sign of Dajjal) will appear with tremendous might and power to claim its domain. At that time some believers will move to mountains and in isolation leaving urban dwellings for safety –
Narrated abu Said al-Khudri: allah's apostle said, "There will come a time when the best property of a man will be sheep which he will graze on the tops of mountains and the places where rain falls (i.e. pastures) escaping to protect his religion from afflictions." (Bukhari, Book #54, Hadith #519)
The conflict would eventually begin between the believers and disbelievers -
Narrated abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The Hour will not be established till you fight a nation wearing hairy shoes, and till you fight the Turks, who will have small eyes, red faces and flat noses; and their faces will be like flat shields. And you will find that the best people are those who hate responsibility of ruling most of all till they are chosen to be the rulers. And the people are of different natures: The best in the pre-lslamic period are the best in Islam. A time will come when any of you will love to see me rather than to have his family and property doubled." (Bukhari, Book #56, Hadith #787)
The war would bring realization in people that this world is not worth fighting or killing for. Gradually, people would turn to religion to find peace and happiness. Thus, victory is guaranteed to the believers -
Narrated abu Said al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "a time will come when the people will wage holy war, and it will be asked, 'Is there any amongst you who has enjoyed the company of Allah’s apostle?' They will say: 'Yes.' and then victory will be bestowed upon them. They will wage holy war again, and it will be asked: 'Is there any among you who has enjoyed the company of the companions of Allah’s apostle?' They will say: 'Yes.' and then victory will be bestowed on them." (Bukhari, Book #56, Hadith #792)
Once the domain of Allah is reestablished, people would become religious promoting peace and harmony among the nations. They would not pay attention to wealth – gold and / or silver; and the wars across the globe would result in reduction of men leaving more women seeking husbands –
Narrated Abu Musa: Thy Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "A time will come upon the people when a person will wander about with gold as zakat and will not find anybody to accept it, and one man will be seen followed by forty women to be their guardian because of scarcity of men and great number of women. " (Bukhari, Book #24, Hadith #495)
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Soon the river "Euphrates" will disclose the treasure (the mountain) of gold, so whoever will be present at that time should not take anything of it." Al-A'raj narrated from Abii Huraira that the Prophet said the same but he said, "It (Euphrates) will uncover a mountain of gold (under it)." (Bukhari, Book #88, Hadith #235)
Secularists who are promoting anti-Islamic philosophies and ideas will find themselves in utter loss unable to contain chaotic situation around them realizing eventually that Islam has the answer and solution to all the problems created in the name of modernization by tampering with Mother Nature disbelieving the ultimate Creator and Sustainer Almighty Allah.
Come, let us all repent and seek forgiveness from Allah for our ignorance and disbelief so that He forgives us and recover us from the mess we have created in the name of secularism and / or modernization.
Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. (An-Nahl, Chapter #16, Verse #125)
Do you need to witness more evil and suffer more to accept and believe in Allah and His chosen religion Islam? Declare, “There is n God but Allah, and Muhammad (s) is the messenger of Allah.” Pick up a Qur’an translated in your language and begin to read it followed by life of the Prophet (S) and his traditions one after another until you are educated enough to follow the guidance and guide others as well.
It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it). (At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #33)
